Dog days of summer

The long days of summer has come the farm. I have been laid off work for three weeks now. It really don't look like I will be called back anytime soon.
Try to stay Busy for the most part, but just taking it easy on these hot days. Garden is coming on real good, Corn getting tall, beans are blooming. Watermelon getting larger by the day.
The Kids start school friday both are looking forward to it. 8th grade 11th grade and has his perment to drive.
The chicken operation is a on going thing, The new comers are starting to lay. The eggs are small but that is a good thing. If the eggs are to large it can cause problems for the chickens.
