Compost Barrel

1. I have seen a lot of compost makers/barrels on the Internet that cost lots of money. So I said to my self that if I had a barrel you could make one. A friend of mine had some barrels so I made a compost tumbler out of it. Go the hardware store and get some small wheels, Make a small frame fasten the wheels so that the barrel will roll around them as it sets on them. I would get larger wheels if I was to do it over again. Cut a small door with a saw, add some hinges and a latch

and you have a compost barrel/tumbler. With the 25 Chickens on the place the compost will be great. I also have a compost pile the gets most of the scraps

but the barrel will be more convenient and faster.
