The incubator is set up and working with 25 eggs. The temperature is staying @ 99 degrees as the book said. We need to turn the eggs 3 times a day for the first 18 days. After 18 days the incubator should stay closed so the chicks can position themselves to make the escape from the shell. This is my first time incubating chicks so everything is by the book or by word of mouth. If by some chance they hatch, we will increase our flock which is 20 layers. I know that some will be roosters and I will give them to Tina’s kids for pets LOL :)
